Named after a cranky Chinese neighbor who kept shooing away the pesky paleontologists from their digging spot (his backyard), the “Go on along!” became the Guanlong. Of course NONE of that is true. Here’s what the tag says:
Discovered in China, the Guanlong was a distinctive looking creature that had a coat of primitive feathers but could not fly. This recently discovered dinosaur is accurately represented by its colorful crest on its head and the large claws on its feet.
