Insiders: Dinosaurs

A new book from Simon & Schuster with the very latest in graphics and info. Really impressive! It outlines the “Age of Dinosaurs,” talking about the different eras. It discusses the “Life of Dinosaurs” and their physical characteristics. The section titled “Discovering Dinosaurs” explores the world of the paleontologist. There are two sections called “Meat Eaters” and “Plant Eaters” which highlight individual dinosaurs: Allosaurus, Archaeopteryx, Tyrannosaurus and Struthiomimus (meat eaters);and Plateosaurus, Diplodocus, Stegosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Euoplocephalus, Pachycephalosaurus, and Triceratops (plant eaters). The 64-page hardcover book winds up with a two page chart of dinosaur families and a two pages glossary defines terms that some might have trouble with (or did you already know what gastroliths were?).
